Join as a Billing and Collections Representative for Providence Health & Services in a hybrid role.

One Revenue Cycle (ORC) is the name given to Providence employees who work across the organization to support revenue cycle systems and structures in all regions from Alaska to California. The goal of ORC is to deliver on Providence’s core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, and enhance the patient care experience by providing robust, operational and technical support and sharing specialized revenue cycle expertise.

As a Self Pay Specialist you will:

• Resolve large balance accounts effectively.
• Skip trace to ensure optimal opportunities for account resolution.
• Re‑establish defaulted payment plans.
• Resolve exceptions to ensure the proper flow of accounts through the self‑pay process.
• Minimize accounts written off to internal bad debt.
• Work the Pre‑collect inventory to minimize bad debt referrals to third‑party collection agencies.

Position is a call‑center representative for Home Medical Equipment billing and collections; most of the day involves answering patient phone calls.

• Experience in medical management computer applications.

• 5 years – medical billing and medical terminology.
• 3 years – health care business office experience or related field.

Oregon – Portland: $21.16 – $32.37 per hour

Washington – Southwest (Olympia, Centralia & below): $21.16 – $32.37 per hour
