Performed ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment while taking into account individual patients' special or age-related needs.
Responsibilities- Conduct ultrasound examinations in a patient‑focused manner.
- Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment accurately.
- Adapt imaging techniques to individual patient needs.
- Maintain patient records and comply with quality standards.
- Education that meets certification, license, or registration requirements.
- Board eligible for certification at the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Upon hire:
Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary. - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. - Within 180 days of hire:
National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. - Upon hire:
New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire. - Upon hire:
New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
- 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
