Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Emergency Medicine
Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR seeks a full‑time, day‑shift Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Emergency Medicine. The ED has 81 beds and more than 90,000 visits annually, the busiest in the Portland metro area.
The Specialist will provide direct patient care to adult and pediatric patients in the ED, respond to medical emergencies, and act as a clinical leader for the pharmacy team. The role involves developing medication‑management initiatives, preceptor duties for pharmacy residents and student pharmacists, and working 10‑hour shifts (weekdays and every third weekend).
Required Qualifications- Pharm
D in Pharmacy or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy - Oregon pharmacist license upon hire
- 2 years PGY‑2 residency training, or PGY‑1 residency plus 2 years experience in the relevant setting, or a minimum of 4 years experience in specialty practice
- Board Certified Pharmacist (BPS) within 2 years of hire
Pay range: $80.10–$128.07 per hour, plus potential shift differentials, on‑call pay, overtime, and bonuses.
