Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR is seeking a full‑time, day‑shift MRI Technologist. Eligible candidates may receive a $6,000 sign‑on bonus in addition to the comprehensive benefits package. Salary range: $44.67 – $69.35 per hour.
ResponsibilitiesThe MRI Technician performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment while considering patient age, special or medical needs. The technician applies imaging knowledge and judgment in imaging factors йе technique, and patient treatment to produce optimal images.
Required Qualifications- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire, or Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- National certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire, or National Certified MRI Technologist – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months of hire.
- New graduates must have an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
