Senior Food Service Attendant

Full-time, day schedule at Providence Portland Medical Center.

All Food Service staff must provide a high level of customer service for patients, family members, volunteers, physicians and staff. The Service Excellence Standards of Behavior guidelines must be adhered to at all times. Must have comprehensive knowledge of and be compliant with specified regulatory requirements, and food safety and sanitation regulations for food service in a health‑care environment. Proper sanitation procedures and practices must be followed to assure cleanliness and sanitation of ware‑washing, service‑ware and equipment in the work area.

• National Food Handler Card – State/County/City Authority upon hire.
• Experience working in a team environment with common goals.

• 1 year experience in customer service, patient interactions and food service.
• Experience in healthcare or dietary kitchen using therapeutic diets.
• 6 months experience working on assembly line and delivering patient meal trays.
