This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Engineer located in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for developing, executing, and documenting test cases to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of software applications. Key tasks also include conducting manual testing, identifying and reporting defects, and maintaining high quality assurance standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Collaboration with development teams is expected to enhance software quality and meet project objectives.
- Proficiency in Test Execution and Software Testing methodologies
- Experience with creating and maintaining Test Cases and ensuring accurate documentation
- Skilled in Manual Testing and identifying and reporting software defects
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance principles and practices
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code concepts (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes) — a key requirement to support testing across DH2i’s multi-platform environments
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS, iSCSI, NFS, storage failover) and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, routing, SDN, network security) — critical for testing high‑availability and software‑defined perimeter features
- Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross‑functional teams
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
