Technical Lead – Brightspot CMS & Web Platform
Our client is seeking a Technical Lead – Brightspot CMS & Web Platform to provide hands‑on technical leadership for a large‑scale website refresh initiative. This role blends deep CMS expertise with modern front‑end, Dev Ops, and prototyping capabilities, guiding projects from concept through deployment while exploring innovative solutions to enhance digital content experiences.
This role is fully remote.
Responsibilities- Lead the technical architecture, development, and implementation of a web platform built on the Brightspot CMS.
- Design and build custom CMS components and templates to support scalable, high‑performance content delivery.
- Provide hands‑on leadership across front‑end development, Dev Ops practices, and system integrations.
- Drive experimentation and prototyping efforts, including the exploration and integration of emerging AI‑driven content solutions.
- Own the full technical lifecycle, from initial development through deployment, optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
- Partner closely with creative, product, and engineering stakeholders to translate business and content needs into technical solutions.
- Establish best practices for performance, security, maintainability, and scalability across the platform.
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and ensure a stable, reliable production environment.
- Extensive experience designing and developing solutions on the Brightspot CMS, including custom components and architecture.
- Strong background in front‑end development and modern web technologies.
- Proven experience with Dev Ops workflows, deployment pipelines, and cloud‑based environments.
- Demonstrated ability to prototype and evaluate new technologies, including AI‑driven tools or integrations.
- Experience leading technical strategy and making architectural decisions for complex web platforms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional creative and technical teams.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguous or evolving project environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
