Senior Tech Lead

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring and observability solutions to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems.
• Develop and deploy Grafana dashboards to visualize key metrics and insights, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define monitoring requirements, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement in observability capabilities.
• Automate observability processes and workflows to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis of incidents and performance issues, leveraging observability tools and data to identify and resolve underlying issues.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and emerging technologies in observability engineering and Grafana, incorporating new tools and methodologies as appropriate.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

• Observability – 8‑10 years of experience, Basic Knowledge, Yes.

• Microservice architecture – 8‑10 years, Basic Knowledge, Yes.
• Azure / AWS – Cloud – 5‑6 years, Basic Knowledge, Yes.

The annual salary for this position is between $99,000 to $116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
