Functional Lead SAP S​/HANA Fashion; FMS​/Vertical Business

We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4

HANA Fashion Functional Lead to spearhead the transformation of our global apparel and footwear technology platform. In this business-critical role, you will be the technical and process authority responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying end-to-end solutions on SAP S/4

HANA Fashion and Vertical Business (formerly FMS). A vital component of this role involves leveraging your deep SAP AFS migration knowledge to help transition our legacy data, grid structures, and processes into a modernized, unified S/4

HANA ecosystem.

• Solution Architecture & Design: Own the blueprinting, functional design, and realization of end-to-end fashion processes (Design-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay) optimized for a vertical business model (Wholesale, Retail, and e-Commerce).
• AFS-to-S/4
  
  HANA Migration: Provide technical leadership on migrating from legacy SAP AFS environments to S/4
  
  HANA. Translate legacy AFS grid concepts, data structures, and custom code into standard S/4
  
  HANA Fashion Management capabilities.
• Fashion Master Data Governance: Architect and configure foundational fashion master data, including Generic Articles, Variants, Grid / Matrix concepts (size, color, length combinations), and characteristic profiles.
• Seasonality & Product Lifecycle: Configure and manage complex Seasonality frameworks, establishing season hierarchies, validities, and rolling calendars that drive purchasing, inventory allocation, and sales.
• Hands-on Configuration: Drive configuration across core Fashion Management components including article segmentation, multi-channel inventory protection, and fashion-specific logistical workflows.
• Cross-Functional & Team Leadership: Lead a team of functional analysts and developers. Partner closely with downstream team leads (SD/ARun, MM, PP, FICO) to ensure seamless process integration and a single version of inventory truth.

• Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of hands-on SAP functional configuration experience, with at least 3+ years as a Team Lead or Solution Architect in the fashion/apparel sector.

  HANA Fashion Mastery: Proven experience with at least 1 full-lifecycle implementation or migration on the SAP S/4
  
  HANA Fashion / Vertical Business platform.
• Legacy AFS Expertise: Deep, verifiable knowledge of SAP AFS (Apparel & Footwear Solution) architecture, including how AFS data objects map to S/4
  
  HANA Fashion Management.
• Process Excellence: In-depth understanding of industry-specific end-to-end fashion processes, including pre-orders, seasonal allocation, and multi-dimensional inventory valuation.
• Communication & Advisory: Exceptional leadership and stakeholder-management skills. Proven ability to guide business executives through complex process shifts from legacy systems to modern best practices.

• SAP S/4
  
  HANA Sales, Procurement, or Fashion Certification.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications customized for fashion inventory and sales tracking.
• Experience with automated data migration tools (such as SAP LTMC or customized data conversion frameworks).
