Functional Lead SAP S​/HANA Sales & Distribution; Fashion & Wholesale

We are seeking a high-caliber, hands-on Functional Lead for SAP S/4

HANA SD (Sales and Distribution) with a proven track record in the Fashion and Wholesale sectors. In this strategic lead role, you will own the end-to-end design, configuration, and delivery of our Order-to-Cash (O2C) solutions. You will serve as the primary subject matter expert, guiding business stakeholders through complex supply chain transformations, mentoring junior configurators, and ensuring the technical integrity of our global wholesale platform.

• Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the blueprinting, functional design, and realization of SAP S/4
  
  HANA Sales solutions, ensuring they scale effectively for global fashion wholesale operations.
• Hands-on Configuration & Delivery: Act as the ultimate technical authority for core SD configurations—including Variant Matrix order entry, complex wholesale pricing procedures, multi-tier customer hierarchies, and Advanced Returns Management (ARM).
• Inventory Allocation Ownership: Design, configure, and optimize the SAP Order Allocation Run (ARun) and advanced Available-to-Promise (
  aATP
  ) rules to dynamically manage stock pools and handle inventory shortages across high-priority wholesale accounts.
• Team & Delivery Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of internal functional analysts and external system integrator consultants. Conduct design reviews and enforce configuration best practices.
• B2B Integration (EDI): Architect and maintain robust EDI/IDoc integration frameworks (including EDI 850, 855, 856, and 810) to support seamless, automated trading with global retail partners.
• Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with cross-functional Leads (MM, PP, FICO) to manage integration touchpoints. Act as the trusted advisor to senior wholesale and supply chain business executives, translating business vision into execution.

• Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of hands-on SAP SD configuration experience, with at least 3+ years in a Team Lead, Stream Lead, or Solution Architect capacity

  HANA Expertise: Proven delivery of at least 2 full-lifecycle implementations on the SAP S/4
  
  HANA platform, specifically using S/4
  
  HANA Fashion Management (FMS) or Vertical Business solutions.
• Fashion Industry Domain: Deep functional mastery of fashion-specific logic, including generic/variant article handling (size/color matrices), season management, and ARun configuration
  .
• Integration Mastery: Strong experience managing complex, high-volume EDI integration landscapes typical of major department store and wholesale supply chains.
• Leadership Traits: Exceptional communication and advisory skills; proven ability to manage technical teams, drive consensus among conflicting business requirements, and de-risk complex go-lives.

• Experience implementing SAP Fiori for order management and sales analytics dashboards.

Prior experience managing global rollout templates.
