Senior Project Manager

Location: Downtown Portland, OR - Onsite 5 Days per Week

Capstone IT is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale ERP transformation for a Fortune 500 client in downtown Portland, Oregon. This individual will oversee enterprise technology initiatives involving Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems.

The ideal candidate has experience managing enterprise transformation projects valued at $100M+, coordinating business and technical teams, overseeing implementation partners, and managing project delivery from initiation through implementation.

Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud is highly preferred.

• Lead large-scale ERP transformation projects from initiation through implementation.
• Partner with executive sponsors, business leaders, and product owners to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and dependencies.
• Coordinate ERP, HCM, Finance, Supply Chain, technical, and business work streams.
• Manage third-party implementation partners, consultants, and technology vendors.
• Oversee requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and implementation planning.
• Monitor project performance against budgets, schedules, and established deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Manage project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and budget reporting.
• Facilitate project governance meetings and provide executive-level status updates.
• Support Agile delivery practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with business objectives, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• 6+ years of IT project management experience, including at least 2 years in a senior technical or leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise ERP implementations or transformation initiatives.
• Experience delivering projects involving HCM, Finance, and Supply Chain Management systems.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise programs or projects valued at $100M+.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, system integrators, and external vendors.
• Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk mitigation, and implementation.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Oracle Primavera, or Enterprise Project Server.
• Strong communication, executive stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in downtown Portland, Oregon.

• Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, or Finance implementation experience.
• Experience with enterprise-wide business process transformation or legacy system modernization.
• Experience working in regulated environments, including familiarity with NAESB standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a related field.
• PMP or similar certification
