Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled attorney to serve as E Discovery Attorney at Jackson Lewis P.C. The ideal candidate will be a natural communicator who works closely with teams throughout the firm to guide and advise on eDiscovery and Information Governance issues.
Responsibilities- Managing eDiscovery for complex, global litigations and investigations.
- Developing workflows for eDiscovery review platforms including Relativity, proprietary vendor platforms, and data analytics tools, incorporating TAR, predictive coding, and Early Case Assessment.
- Advising legal, compliance, and investigation stakeholders on eDiscovery issues and strategies that comply with relevant policies, laws, and regulations for litigation, internal investigations, and regulatory inquiries.
- Providing support to case teams on eDiscovery-related negotiations and motion practice.
- Assisting clients with updating internal eDiscovery workflows and working with Information Governance, Data Protection, IT, and Compliance.
- Identifying and escalating improvements to eDiscovery policies and procedures.
- Serving as subject matter expert on eDiscovery topics and training new and existing customers.
- Implementing custom workflows to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence.
- Creating and refining standard documentation: ESI protocols, Protective Orders, review protocols, training guides, and review workflows.
- JD required.
- Admission to any state bar.
- Minimum 5+ years managing eDiscovery in complex litigations and investigations.
- Strong knowledge of current eDiscovery law, jurisprudence, processes, and evolving technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity and Everlaw.
- Familiarity with data and document processing procedures in eDiscovery.
- Experience bridging eDiscovery with related disciplines (compliance, records, information governance, IT, data privacy/protection, data security).
- Strong project management skills, managing multiple projects from inception to completion.
- Ability to proactively identify and implement continuous improvements in policies and processes.
For California: $135,000–$165,000 per year. For Washington and Minnesota: $135,000–$165,000 per year, with eligibility for annual bonuses.
