Position: Supervising Attorney (Multilingual)

Compensation

Base pay range: $123,513/yr.

Responsibilities
  • Lead staff attorneys representing immigrant and refugee clients.
  • Supervise one or more office units ensuring holistic, high‑quality legal representation.
  • Mentor and train staff attorneys, provide consult and advice, develop staff compliance with Blue Dot database management and funding requirements.
  • Maintain a caseload and co‑counsel clients.
  • Identify, develop and implement legal strategies to address systemic legal problems.
  • Prepare and draft required funder reports.
  • Develop and maintain a productive work environment and leadership role in legal services provider associations.
  • Other duties as assigned by SRI Director.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor.
  • 5 years or more practice experience.
  • Admission to practice law in a U.S. state.
  • Demonstrated commitment to public interest work.
  • Prior supervisory experience; ability to lead and motivate.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication; strong time‑management and organizational skills; ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility.
  • Fluency in Spanish or another foreign language.
