Retail Marketing Manager/Lead Generation Manager
Base pay and $1,000 Monthly bonus + Benefits
TRAVEL REQUIRED 60% + OPEN WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A MUST
This role champions the Great Day Way, placing customers and people at the heart of every interaction. As the leader of Retail Marketing and event strategy, the Retail Marketing Manager will unify our efforts under a single, customer-obsessed, people-driven framework to deliver high-quality leads, memorable brand experiences, and community connections in our territories.
Essential Functions- Engage potential customers and schedule in-home consultations with Sales Representatives
- Develop training programs for existing local staff and new hires
- Hire, train, and maintain a team of retail marketers across multiple locations
- Manage provided budgets to maximize ROI
- Determine and set monthly, quarterly, and annual goals in partnership with the Field Marketing Manager
- Manage and approve payroll entries and updates
- Contribute content social media and company culture efforts
- Evaluate data and results to identify areas of improvement
- Conduct performance reviews with the Lead Generation/marketing team
- Support Corporate Marketing functions
- Create and lead a unified retail marketing vision across all brands and divisions.
- Develop scalable programs that reflect The Great Day Way, emphasizing excellence in execution, a customer-first mindset, and strong team development.
- Retail Marketing Operations
- Oversee execution of retail marketing strategies, including in-store marketing, retail events, and B2B partnerships.
- Assist oversight of event marketing strategies, including home shows, festivals, and local sponsor ships.
- Develop standards for localized marketing efforts, ensuring consistency in brand representation and quality of experience.
- Optimize lead generation processes to exceed issued and conversion rate targets.
- Oversee execution of event and grassroots marketing strategies, including home shows, retail events, festivals, local sponsor ships, B2B partnerships, and neighborhood outreach.
- Develop standards for localized marketing efforts, ensuring consistency in brand representation and quality of experience.
- Opimize and generation process to exceed booked, issued, and sales targets.
- People Leadership and Development
- Develop, manage and execute a workforce plan to deliver quality capacity and capabilities for retail marketing.
- Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing, geographically dispersed team of retail marketers.
- Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and energy, with clear KPIs and coaching routines.
- Performance Management & Budget Ownership
- Manage and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals; report on performance against KPIs, including lead volume, ROI, conversion rates, and team development.
- Own and manage retail marketing budgets with discipline and creativity, driving strong ROI and impactful customer experiences.
- Own and manage event marketing budgets with discipline and creativity, driving strong ROI and impactful customer experiences.
- Manage and meet monthly, quartley, and annual goals, report on performance against KPI's including lead volume, ROI, conversion rates, and team development.
- 3+ years of experience in retail/field/event marketing, grassroots lead generation, or related roles in high-performance, growth-oriented businesses.
- Proven leadership in building and scaling multi-location teams and programs; national/multi-brand experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; marketing, communications, or business discipline preferred.
- Deep understanding of retail marketing dynamics, including in-store marketing, event execution, local partnerships, community engagement, and staffing.
- Strong ability to set vision, organize systems, and lead through influence in a matrixed environment.
- Experience in the home improvement, franchise, or direct-to-consumer industries a plus.
- Excellent communicator who inspires, coaches, and drives outcomes through people.
- Travel & Physical Requirements
- Willingness to travel regularly to your office, events & stores within your market, as well as other markets if chosen to attend.
- Ability to engage for extended periods at events & stores and manage occasional physical demands (display materials, standing, walking).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
