Keep Our Facilities Safe, Reliable, and Ready for Care
Portland Gastroenterology Center (PGC) is looking for a Facilities and Equipment Manager to lead the care and daily operation of our buildings, equipment, and work spaces. This role is key to keeping our practice running smoothly and ensuring our patients and staff have a safe, well-maintained environment.

What You’ll DoFacilities & Equipment Management
- Inspect, maintain, and repair PGC buildings and equipment.
- Make sure facilities and equipment are ready for daily operations and special events.
- Manage requests for equipment and facility issues using a ticketing system.
- Keep records of warranties, inspections, service agreements, and licenses.
- Maintain required logs and documentation for accreditation.
- Track inventory and manage storage and distribution of supplies and equipment.
- Recommend new equipment purchases, preventive maintenance, and replacements.
- Plan ahead for supply reorders and equipment end-of-life needs.
Coordination & Planning
- Serve as the main contact for custodial, equipment, and facilities issues.
- Work with property management and landlords as needed.
- Partner with leadership to help plan staffing and budgets.
- Take on special projects as assigned.
- Oversee custodial staff and outside contractors.
- Assign daily work, manage schedules, and monitor performance.
- Provide training, coaching, and annual reviews.
- Address performance issues when needed.
- Share regular reports on costs, performance, and efficiency with leadership.
- At least 3 years of related experience required; 5 or more years preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience leading staff or contractors is a plus.

This role includes both office work and hands-on tasks. You must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds job involves extended periods of sitting for planning and meetings and standing for maintenance work.
You will work in an office and clinical support setting. The environment is usually quiet to moderately busy, with occasional stressful situations when urgent issues arise.
This role is classified as OSHA Category A, and employees in this category will be offered the Hepatitis B vaccine.
CompensationMinimum: $32.18/hour ($66,940.83/year)
Maximum: $45.06/hour ($93,717.16/year)
Pay is commensurate with education, skills, and experience
