Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Sandblaster/Painter position in Portland, OR

• Prepare surfaces for painting through sandblasting and other cleaning methods to ensure proper adhesion and finish.
• Mix, apply, and cure paints, coatings, and finishes according to specifications.
• Operate blasting and painting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to verify quality standards and ensure coating thickness and surface finish requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and disposal of materials and chemicals.
• Follow all safety procedures, including the use of PPE and compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of sandblasting and painting equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in industrial sandblasting and/or painting is highly preferred.
• Ability to work 60‑hour work weeks (overtime required).
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment—must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of coating types, surface preparation standards, and proper application techniques a plus.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
