Woodworker/Cabinetmaker – Seeking an experienced woodworker/cabinetmaker to craft fixtures and displays for high‑end retail stores and architectural millwork in the Portland area as a Temp-to-Hire for a well‑established commercial cabinet shop.

Temp-to-Hire position; $25.00 to $27.00 /hour;
Full Time work available;
First Shift (Monday through Friday, 06:00 am to 02:30 pm)

• Craft retail store fixtures and architectural millwork.
• Build custom cabinets, pro‑totype prototypes, and architectural casework.
• Produce ornamental metalwork when required.
• Use formaldehyde‑free substrates, recycled‑content particle board, FSC certified wood, recycled plastic lumber, and bio‑composites.
• Apply green construction techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine parts and assembly requirements.
• Operate stationery and portable woodworking equipment and related hand tools.
• Lift and handle up to 50 lbs.
• Communicate effectively with the design team and other stakeholders.

• Documented professional cabinet assembly experience.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with furniture hand tools and portable woodworking equipment.
• Ability to handle 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills.
