The Lab Assistant / Glass Cleaner plays a vital role in supporting high-volume glassware cleaning operations and maintaining the integrity of lab processes. This position emphasizes quality over speed, requiring adherence to strict cleaning protocols while contributing to a collaborative and organized team environment.

• Clean and rinse laboratory glassware following strict procedures, ensuring no surfactant residue remains.

• Handle delicate and expensive glassware with care and precision.

The Lab Assistant / Glass Cleaner will work onsite at a high-volume, fast-paced laboratory focused on precision and quality. The lab culture emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and professionalism, with a supportive team that values clear communication and mutual assistance. The setting includes a clean, organized laboratory space with designated glassware cleaning stations. The role involves working around delicate and expensive lab equipment, requiring careful handling and adherence to cleaning protocols.

The lab team includes supervisors and technicians, and the new hire will work independently but in close coordination with the broader lab team. The culture fosters a respectful and inclusive environment where quality is prioritized over speed. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, repetitive motion during cleaning tasks, and handling of glassware, requiring manual dexterity, focus, and stamina. This is a Permanent position based out of Portland, OR.

The pay range for this position is $40040.00 – $40040.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Portland,OR.
