Pay Rate: $25–$28 per hour
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. In this role, you will fabricate and weld brackets for structural steel and cage assemblies used to support large highway signs—similar to those seen on freeway overpasses. You will primarily use GMAW and FCAW welding processes with .045 wire on steel up to 1 inch thick. This is a day shift position
, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

- Weld brackets for structural steel and cage assemblies for highway signage.
- Perform GMAW and FCAW welding using .045 wire on steel up to 1" thick.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precision and accuracy.
- Inspect welds to maintain high-quality standards.
- Operate hand tools and assist with general labor tasks as needed.
- Proficiency in GMAW and FCAW welding techniques.
- Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience

- Skilled in using hand tools for fabrication and inspection.
- Experience with flux core welding.
- Familiarity with general labor and inspection processes.

You’ll work in a clean machine shop inside an enclosed (but uninsulated) building, which may be cooler in winter and warmer in summer. Our team values a friendly, laid-back atmosphere while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
