Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain production and manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections on parts and materials to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
  • Set up machines according to production specifications and verify correct operation before and during runs.
  • Accurately measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to confirm adherence to specifications.
  • Identify defects, irregularities, or inconsistencies and report them promptly to supervisors or quality leads.
  • Work independently to manage inspection tasks, maintain documentation, and ensure all quality standards are consistently met.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Stand for up to 10 hours per shift while performing repetitive and detail-oriented tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and support other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, inspection, or machine operation strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues quickly and accurately.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn machine setup and operation.
  • Basic understanding of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
  • Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 50+ lbs
    .
  • Strong communication skills and reliability are essential.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.
