Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fabricator role in Portland. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain fabrication equipment to ensure efficient and precise production operations.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate components accurately.

  • Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and assembling of metal parts to meet quality and design standards.

  • Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure consistency and integrity.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with industry standards.

  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and accurate inventory tracking.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and troubleshoot operational challenges.

  • Document fabrication processes, material usage, and other essential data accurately.

  • Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of fabrication equipment and work areas.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in metal fabrication, welding, or manufacturing is preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Proficiency with fabrication tools and equipment, such as welders, grinders, and cutting tools.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and guidelines is a plus, but training will be provided.
