Trinity House Catholic Worker, which has been feeding and housing marginalized citizens of Albuquerque, NM for over twenty years, is looking for a new director. Trinity House ministries include housing asylum seekers, food rescue and distribution, and, in partnership with Francis House Catholic Worker, feeding hundreds of the city’s homeless five days a week. The House engages an experienced, full-time resident volunteer and dozens of part-timers in its work, and collaborates with other nonprofits in Albuquerque.
The House encourages and supports the social justice endeavors of its volunteers and supporters. Innovative ideas and approaches are encouraged. This is a non-paid position, but does provide free room and board and the use of a car. The position is centered around the running of the house with the main focus being working with asylum seekers. Being fluent in Spanish is a requirement.
