Summary of Duties:

The Nurse Practitioner will provide medical services to Geriatric Psychiatry clinic patients, tailored to individual needs and in accordance with care standards and policies. Services will be reviewed and approved by the Chief Medical Officer through periodic chart review.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Masters of Science in Nursing and completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program. A copy of your highest academic diploma or transcript is required upon hire.
• License:
  Licensed to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Certification:
  Current ACLS certification.
• Fulfills hospital medical staff credentialing requirements.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1-3 years as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Skills:
  
  Skilled in some minor trauma procedures.
