Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room Circulator
East Portland Surgery Center is looking for a full–time Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room Circulator to join our team. East Portland Surgery Center is one of Portland’s leading multispecialty surgery centers, performing cases in pain management, GI, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, gynecology, ENT, and spine. Our facility is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and has been ranked in the top 7 ASCs in the state of Oregon for three consecutive years.
Job SummaryThe Operating Room RN is responsible for all patient care in the procedure room and works closely with the physician to deliver successful outcomes. Duties include managing procedure rooms to ensure they are prepped and ready, performing room turnovers, stocking supplies, cleaning, administering medication as ordered while following the Moderate Sedation policy, safely monitoring patients, documenting care in accordance with policy and procedure, and supporting the physicians throughout the procedure.
ScheduleMonday–Friday. No call required. No nights, weekends, or holidays.

- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Oregon license as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS & ACLS certification required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Operating Room RN
- Experience with basic and advanced procedures and IV sedation preferred
- Experience with medical outpatient procedures desired
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to manage patients, families, physicians, and staff tactfully
- Knowledgeable of hospital/ASC policies and procedures specific to the procedure room
- Demonstrates professional behavior in all interactions with patients, physicians, and team members
- Efficient use of resources
- Willingness to maintain a clean, organized environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
