United Surgical Partners International, Inc invites applications for the role of Clinical Director - Ambulatory Surgical Services at the East Portland Surgery Center.
East Portland Surgery Center is a leading multi‑specialty surgery center in Portland, offering services in pain management, GI, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, gynecology, ENT & spine. The facility is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and has ranked in the top 7 ASCs in Oregon for three consecutive years.
Job Summary: The Clinical Director oversees day‑to‑day operations of the clinical areas, including the operating room (OR) and pre‑op/PACU. The role implements process initiatives to improve efficiency and patient experience, collaborates with the ASC Administrator to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. Responsibilities include staff credentialing, preventive safety measures, risk management, and leveraging clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, no on‑call or holiday work required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing; BSN or higher preferred
- Active RN license to practice in Oregon
- Operating Room experience
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in outpatient surgery
- Demonstrated clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities
- Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of the position
- CPR required, advanced life support certification required
