Position Overview
RN Manager – Operating Room (1.0 FTE Day Shift) – Portland, OR
Key Responsibilities- Lead clinical and operational activities within the Operating Room.
- Ensure safe, effective, and efficient delivery of surgical nursing care.
- Develop and maintain department budgets, staffing, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgical teams, and hospital leadership to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Oversee regulatory compliance, quality initiatives, and performance improvement programs.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 3 years of perioperative or surgical services experience; 2 years of progressive leadership or management experience in an acute care setting. - Licensure/Certification:
Current unencumbered RN license in Oregon (or eligibility); BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred.
- Competitive salary: $133,515 to $210,787.
- $10,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible external candidates.
