Position Overview

RN Manager – Operating Room (1.0 FTE Day Shift) – Portland, OR

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead clinical and operational activities within the Operating Room.
  • Ensure safe, effective, and efficient delivery of surgical nursing care.
  • Develop and maintain department budgets, staffing, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgical teams, and hospital leadership to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, quality initiatives, and performance improvement programs.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 3 years of perioperative or surgical services experience; 2 years of progressive leadership or management experience in an acute care setting.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    Current unencumbered RN license in Oregon (or eligibility); BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred.
