Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse

Location:

Milwaukie, OR. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for oncology patients within a short-term acute care facility. The role requires flexibility to float between units and support the healthcare team in delivering quality patient care.

• Position: 12-Week Block, First Timer assignment, nights shift, requiring 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission, at least 1 year of nursing experience, experience with charting using Epic, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Schedule:
  
  Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional information:
  Will float between units as needed; must have a vehicle for this assignment. Travel experience is not required. Must be available to work three of the five designated holidays and be flexible with floating to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS required.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Previous charge nurse experience, oncology, and hematology experience, competency in managing Ports, Central Lines, and related medical devices.
