Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Infusion

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Infusion position requiring active OR licensure, Epic experience, and oncology infusion background.

Requirements

• Active RN license (OR state) required
• BLS certification required; BSN preferred
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required; OCN and TCTCN preferred
• Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience required, including outpatient oncology background
• Epic charting system experience required
• Chemotherapy administration skills required
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required (charge RN references not accepted)
• Full work history for the last seven years required, including employment dates and locations

Responsibilities

• Outpatient infusion center setting within a hospital campus
• Clinic operates 7 days a week
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Epic EMR experience required
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit needs
• Administer chemotherapy and provide infusion care to oncology patients in BMT, inpatient, and outpatient oncology settings
• Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• Return staff must have been gone a minimum of 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Former OHSU employees or previous travelers must provide a reference from their prior OHSU supervisor
• RTO must be submitted upfront and not exceed 2 weeks
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restriction
• First-time travelers may be considered; please verify current eligibility for this specific role
