American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Acute unit position requiring EPIC experience and day shift availability.
Details- Work in the Med/Surg Acute unit of a 302-bed medical center
- Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Current BLS certification (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, humane, and caring treatment
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate duties appropriately and coordinate care with other disciplines
