American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a day shift position requiring EPIC experience and current RN licensure.
Details- Med/Surg Acute unit setting in a hospital environment
- Day shift schedule working 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 AM-07:30 PM)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Holiday RTO will not be approved
- Active RN license in the state of practice required
- BLS certification required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS from approved vendor)
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
- Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe, healing, and compassionate care
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- Required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions where applicable
