American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring at least one year of telemetry experience and an active Oregon RN license.

• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Floating to other units and sister facilities based on skill set may be required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic for charting
• Short term acute care hospital setting

• Active Oregon RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with Rapid Response/Code team utilization
• IV therapy, phlebotomy, and peripheral line care/management skills
• Experience with nasal cannula and oxygen administration, including oxygen tank use
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE use
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
• Full SSN and DOB required for submission

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Tele unit including cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted up-front; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate; local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem staff
• Having a personal vehicle is required for this assignment
• Any color scrubs accepted
