Job Title: PRN Registered Nurse (RN) – Day ShiftLocation: Portland, OR
Facility: Secora Rehabilitation of Cascadia (edit if needed)
Schedule: PRN / Per Diem –
Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
We are seeking a dependable and clinically strong Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) Day Shift basis
. This role provides direct nursing care to residents while ensuring compliance with all clinical standards and regulations.
PRN RNs are essential in supporting staffing needs and maintaining high-quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Supervise and support CNAs and nursing staff on shift
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Respond to emergencies and assist with admissions/discharges
- Active Oregon RN license in good standing
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible PRN scheduling – pick up shifts that fit your availability
- Supportive team environment
- Opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced rehab setting
- Minimum requirement: 1 shift per month
- Additional shifts available based on staffing needs
- Must pass background check per Oregon state requirements
- Ability to perform physical job duties (standing, lifting, assisting residents)
