Quality Supervisor
- Fluid Transfer Manufacturing
- Base Salary to 85k/year
- Portland, OR
Our client is a leading fluid transfer manufacturer, supplier, and distributor seeking a Quality Supervisor to join the team. This hands‑on quality professional will oversee quality assurance and quality control activities through inspection, testing, validation, documentation, and analysis of manufacturing processes. The Quality Supervisor will also support workplace safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary subject matter resource for quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Develop, implement, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures
- Oversee quality activities involving inspection, testing, validation, documentation, and analysis of manufacturing processes
- Coordinate the company safety program and support workplace safety and compliance initiatives
- Maintain quality documentation, procedures, records, and related compliance requirements
- Identify quality and process improvement opportunities and lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) initiatives
- Perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions to improve product quality and manufacturing process performance
- Support quality audits and ongoing regulatory compliance activities
- Maintain OSHA logs and required safety documentation
- Work cross‑functionally with other departments to drive continuous improvement, quality, safety, and compliance initiatives
- 3+ years of experience in quality control, quality management, or related safety experience within a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), root cause analysis, audits, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently on quality initiatives and cross‑functionally with other departments
- Hands‑on approach to quality, manufacturing problem‑solving, process improvement, and maintaining compliance
- Base salary in the 75k - 85k/year range
