As the face of Uptown Properties for prospective residents, you’ll guide potential tenants through the leasing process with clarity, ease, and value — all while ensuring every “i” is dotted and “t” is crossed.

The Leasing Agent is responsible for marketing available properties, responding to leasing inquiries, conducting property tours, and guiding applicants through the leasing process from start to finish.

• Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
• Conduct property showings and virtual tours with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Provide prospective residents with detailed, accurate information about available rentals
• Assist applicants with completing and submitting rental applications
• Communicate leasing criteria, policies, and timelines clearly and consistently
• Coordinate lease signing, move-in scheduling, and handoff to the property management team
• Update property listings and maintain accurate availability in the CRM
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote available rentals
• Ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every prospective and new resident

• 1+ year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using technology, CRM tools, and scheduling platforms
• Highly organized and detail-oriented — you thrive on following up and following through
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
• Knowledge of Portland’s rental market is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Enjoy helping people find homes they love
