These roles offer a mix of hands-on archaeological fieldwork and collaborative office-based work. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects that protect cultural heritage and support environmental, infrastructure, and restoration initiatives.
By getting to know you now, we can be ready to match your skills and career goals with upcoming opportunities as soon as they arise.
What You Might Do:

- Research and evaluate cultural resources for potential listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, cultural resource management plans, and compliance documentation.
- Support Section 106 and NEPA processes, assessing cultural resource considerations and potential impacts.
- Collaborate with federal, state, tribal, and community partners.
- Contribute to project planning, contract scopes of work, and deliverable reviews.
- Maintain cultural resource records in compliance with applicable standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- Archaeological field and analytical experience (amount and scope can vary).
- Knowledge of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), particularly Section 106.
- Ability to conduct archaeological inventories and prepare clear, detailed reports.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the Columbia River Basin.
- Familiarity with NEPA processes.
- Skills in GIS and GPS technology.
- Understanding of reservoir impacts, electrical transmission systems, and/or habitat restoration programs.
Why This Work Matters:
