Position: Clinical Research Assistant 2

Position

Clinical Research Assistant 2 (part-time, 0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week). Part of the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) study.

Department Overview

The Department of Psychiatry is recruiting a part-time Clinical Research Assistant 2 for the ABCD study.

Function/Duties
  • Behavioral and cognitive assessment and MRI scanning of adolescent cohort participants.
  • Scheduling participant visits and maintaining high retention.
  • Data checking, data entry using REDCap, Excel, E‑Prime.
  • General office duties and support of study goals.
  • Daytime, evening and weekend availability required.
  • 2‑year time commitment preferred.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in relevant field OR Associate’s with 2 years of relevant experience OR 3 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination.
  • Experience with REDCap and Excel strongly preferred.
  • Self‑starter with strong work ethic and ability to operate independently and in a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, multi‑tasking, and adaptability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in behavioral science, advanced degrees, or background in psychological or neuroimaging research.
  • Prior human research experience and experience working with youth and families.
  • Proficiency with database and statistical software (Excel, REDCap, E‑Prime).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
