Director of Research & Associate Director of Casey Eye Institute
Postdoctoral Position in Ophthalmic Imaging Device Development at the COOL Lab. The Center for Ophthalmic Optics & Lasers (COOL Lab) at Oregon Health & Science University’s Casey Eye Institute is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to drive next-generation ultrahigh-speed ultrawide-field OCT hardware development. Directed by Dr. David Huang, co‑inventor of OCT and recipient of the National Medal of Technology & Innovation and the Lasker‑DeBakey Award, COOL Lab offers an outstanding environment for advancing optical imaging and laser technologies.
Candidates with a PhD in Biomedical/Optical Engineering, Physics, or related fields and strong experience in optical system design and prototyping (OCT preferred) are encouraged to apply.
