The Department of Pediatrics at OHSU is recruiting a Post Doctoral Scholar to work in Dr. Stephen Back's lab, focusing on cellular and molecular mechanisms of white matter injury related to aging and cognitive decline.

The project uses human autopsy brains from subjects with vascular brain injury and neurodegenerative conditions. The ideal candidate will have neuroscience training (MD/PhD) and experience with neuroanatomy, stereology, and cell biology, with strong organizational and leadership
