Key Responsibilities Manager Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support staff during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure all IHOP operational, safety, and sanitation standards are followed.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with training new employees, reinforcing proper procedures and service standards.
  • Oversee cash handling, register operations, and end-of-shift reports as needed.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain timely and accurate order flow.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of dining, service, and entry areas.
  • Help enforce labor, food cost, and waste-control practices during shifts.
Server Responsibilities
  • Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive table service.
  • Accurately record food and beverage orders and deliver them in a timely manner.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, and specials.
  • Handle guest payments, operate the POS system, and follow cash-handling procedures.
  • Keep dining areas clean, stocked, and properly set.
  • Refill beverages, check on guest satisfaction, and provide an overall welcoming dining experience.
  • Follow all sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene standards.
Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or supplies for extended periods.
  • Must meet local age requirements for serving food and handling POS systems.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
