The RoleWe’re looking for a dedicated Counter Attendant to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving food and beverages to members and guests promptly and with a smile. You’ll be a key player in ensuring smooth operations by maintaining clear communication with team members and other departments. If you’re enthusiastic, detail‑oriented, and thrive in a customer‑focused setting, we want to hear from you!
WhatYou’ll Do
- Customer Service:
Deliver enthusiastic, prompt, and positive service to all members, guests, and employees. - Stock Replenishment:
Regularly replenish stock items as needed. - Cleaning Duties:
Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks as directed by your team lead, supervisor, or manager. - Beverage Preparation:
Prepare espresso drinks and smoothies to our high standards. - Food Preparation:
Make deli sandwiches and hot items such as hot dogs, pizza, and pretzels. - Transaction Handling:
Operate the point‑of‑sale system to process transactions efficiently. - Sanitation:
Practice proper sanitation and food handling procedures at all times. - Daily Operations:
Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned. - Safety Compliance:
Follow all club safety policies and procedures, demonstrating safe work practices. - Additional Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Certifications:
Valid Food Handler’s and OLCC (18 and older only) card mandatory. - Experience:
Prior experience in a similar environment (coffee shop, sandwich shop) preferred. - Language
Skills:
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently. - Menu Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the menu to answer questions from members or guests. - Customer Service:
Excellent customer service and decision‑making skills. - Interpersonal
Skills:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, members, and employees.
