Aboutthe position
We are currently seeking dynamic and energetic Seasonal Delivery Assistants to join our team for the November 2026 to April 2027 period! The role focusses on assisting our Delivery Drivers in providing prompt delivery of orders while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. In addition, this role has responsibility for efficiently and accurately handling the movement of incoming and outgoing stock for the warehouse facility.
Responsibilities- Greet customers and provide a friendly and efficient delivery experience
- Accurately load outgoing stock, ensuring all items correspond to paperwork
- Acquire all necessary signatures/payments for each delivery
- Assist with dispatching and receiving stock to the warehouse facility
- Assist with organising the warehouse to ensure tidiness and orderliness at all times
- Assist with inventory counts as required
- Assist customers in Wine World store locations as needed
- Experience in providing excellent in-person customer service
- Organised and efficient with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30lbs
- Ability to work weekends and special events
- Ability to work at multiple store locations
- A Light Goods License would be an asset
