Overview

Regional Sales Manager - North West (PNW) – Remote role. Candidates should live in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Arizona, or British Columbia.

Role involves meeting or exceeding sales goals in the assigned territory through direct selling, training, and management.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement the sales strategy to achieve sales goals and market-share objectives.
  • Maintain direct contact with customer accounts in the geographic area of responsibility; monitor customer satisfaction, industry trends, competitive offerings, strategies, and activity.
  • Develop a successful representative network in the assigned area as needed through selection, training, and supervision.
  • Maintain product training certifications as defined by the company.
  • Coordinate and attend key industry trade shows, seminars, and conferences representing company products.
  • Maintain company databases (opportunity funnel, contact manager, outage schedule, etc.).
Qualifications
  • BSEE (Electrical Engineering), BSME (Mechanical Engineering) or other engineering discipline required.
  • Successful outside sales experience in high voltage equipment, electric utility & generation industry, and/or design & maintenance of generator/motor windings.
  • Sales experience with or managing manufacturers’ representatives.
  • Training and experience in safety requirements for working with high voltage apparatus.
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 60%) and have a valid passport and driver s license.
  • Customer sites are generally power generating plants, substations, transmission, or transformer environments.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this sales position (including incentives/commissions in local currency) is 131,600 – 244,400.
