If you are good with working with your hands, even if it's just in a hobby like wood‑working or sewing, we can train you for this job. You will be repairing damages to hard surfaces (tubs, countertops, vinyl floors, hardwood floors, tiles, etc.) mostly in apartment units, but also for moving companies and warranty work for new tubs that are damaged either in shipping or in installation.

Base Salary plus Unlimited Commission

Surface Experts is seeking a Sales Representative to strengthen and build our customer base in Charleston and the surrounding area. As a Surface Experts Sales Representative, your job is to find and build relationships with customers who work in property management and facilities maintenance. Our services are unique, so it will be your job to educate and build trust with our customers.

We are looking for someone who lives out our core values of Serving Others, Being a Problem Solver and Trusting the Process. Although prior sales experience is preferred, it is not required – we will train you! You must be comfortable with meeting new people, cold calling on potential customers who have not heard of our services, and revisiting repeat customers to keep the relationship fresh and strong.

You should believe that the services we offer is a help to our customers and demonstrate confidence that we are offering something completely beneficial for them. This is introducing a service that our customers need and want but may not have known was available previously, as we are a specialized service provider that is unique to the area. You have all the contacts, details, tools, support, and help you need.

You just provide the energy, positive attitude, and great communication skills!

• Meeting with 12‑15 contacts a day.
• On‑site visits, phone calls and email follow‑ups.
• In a variety of industries, primarily Property Management, but also Hotels, Movers, Builders, etc.
• Maintain and expand existing customer relationships.
• Educate customers about how Surface Experts can help them.
• Enjoy working with people, both customers and the team.
• Revisit customers with quality control follow‑ups to validate level of customer satisfaction.
• Earn the trust of our customers.
• Work within a sales team and process, being taught to memorize a sales script and training with role‑playing practice.
• Document sales activities in CRM from lead to work order and all steps in between.
• Report accurately and daily.
• Brainstorm to find new leads and opportunities.

• Licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record.

• Previous Sales job helpful, but not required.
• General working knowledge of multi‑family properties (apartment complexes) and/or construction industry helpful but not required.
• Experience using CRM tool and process helpful but not required.
• Experience working in base + commission environment helpful but not required.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $69,700.00 per year
