  • Competitive Compensation:
    Base pay of $60K‑$67K plus commission (paid monthly). Earnings can range from $82K‑$105K based on performance. No cap on commissions, with a tiered payout structure and goal‑based bonuses; stock options available.

Role Overview

As a Showroom Design Consultant in Portland, you will be an integral part of our team working out of the showroom, driving sales in the residential market. You will manage in‑market events, appointments, and deliver unparalleled service and support to our clients, assisting them from conceptualization to realization.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Excellence:
    Achieve and exceed sales targets through exceptional service, building and managing a robust client base, account‑based selling, and cultivating lasting relationships.
  • Client Engagement:
    Respond to inquiries with detailed product, pricing, and delivery information; advise on design choices that align with client vision.
  • Brand Ambassadorship:
    Embody and represent Fireclay Tile’s core values and commitment to sustainability, both within the showroom and at external events.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Maintain showroom standards, ensuring a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment that enhances the customer experience and complies with policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Results‑driven sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Passionate about design with a deep understanding of the industry and the ability to connect with clients aesthetically and functionally.
  • Tech‑savvy, experienced with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and proficient in social media to engage clients and promote products.
  • Preferential:
    Proficiency in AI‑powered tools and platforms (Chat GPT, Gemini) to enhance productivity and decision‑making.
  • Strategic problem‑solver who combines creativity and analytical thinking to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
