City: SW Portland, OR

Reputable family-owned company that provides water related services to the greater Portland area. The main focus is two vital components of the water works industry: fluid measurement and backflow prevention.

Company performs in-house testing, field testing and repair of all major brands of flow meters, in addition to selling new meters and backflow devices. The company supports all products and services with an extensive parts inventory and ancillary equipment sales, helping customers find the right solution for their needs. Their product distribution range includes the Northwest, Alaska, Guam and Hawaii. Testing, field service, and installation territory encompasses Oregon and SW Washington.

What you'll do:

This is a multi-functional role that will require to wear many hats and learn every step of the business. There is tremendous growth within this organization! The Account Manager is responsible for serving as the main point of contact to aid overall client satisfaction.

You will provide exceptional customer service to our clients with water works-related equipment. The account manager acts as a liaison to clients regarding questions or issues with supplies. You will offer knowledge about parts for rare and discontinued meters or backflow prevention devices.

In addition to assisting with the sale of new meters, backflow devices, and control valves; you will have the opportunity to broaden our customer base. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the team, account retention, and prioritize business development opportunities. The company will train and develop your skills. Plumbing and Landscaping background candidates are urged to apply!

What you need to have:

  • 3-5 years' experience working in a waterworks background is required.
  • Solid mechanical/technical aptitude.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CRM familiarity a plus!
  • A positive attitude

  • What's in it for you:

    Salary Range $25/ $35/ hour DOE!

    Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance.

    PTO and Vacation.

    Monday to Friday 7:30-4:30
