Overview
Regional Sales Manager for in home sales. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Great Day Improvements LLC is an innovator and leader in the home remodeling market, seeking a driven and motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead our Sales teams in the Pacific Northwest region. This region includes offices in Washington State & Oregon. The Regional Sales Manager is required to travel up to 25 weeks per year within the region and conduct up to 300 in-home ride-alongs with Sales Representatives.
Great Day Improvements designs, manufactures, sells and installs Patio Enclosures? sunrooms and Stanek? window products. Compensation structure is a base salary and bonus. This is a high-level management position.
- Direct responsibility for sales performance in the assigned region.
- Conduct sales ride-alongs with all sales reps to understand training and development needs and to provide insight for the improvement of the sales process.
- Champion the sales process within the company and branch organizations.
- Travel to markets as needed to conduct training and coaching and assist with onboarding new reps.
- Assist sales reps in preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Prepare action plans for individuals and locations to improve sales performance to attain company goals.
- Work with General Managers to ensure sales management best practices (sales meetings, ride-alongs, sales recap reviews, customer follow-up).
- Assist in sales lead distribution and show schedules to ensure proper scheduling and distribution.
- Review job costings to ensure discounts and adequate profit margins on quotes and sales.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, appraisal, disciplining, and termination of sales personnel.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Consultative selling skills.
- Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy.
- Staff consulting and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases).
- Executive presence to influence senior decision-makers.
- Minimum of ten years of in-home selling to the residential market.
- Experience in the home improvement industry preferred.
- Ability to travel – 50%-60%.
