The Complex Director of Sales and Marketing is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Portland, OR, responsible for driving revenue growth and market positioning for 2 Hilton properties in the local portfolio. This role oversees the development and execution of integrated sales and marketing strategies, including setting sales targets, managing key accounts, and optimizing channel mix to maximize occupancy and rate performance.
Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and coaching sales and marketing teams, analyzing market trends and performance data, developing promotional campaigns, and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners, travel agencies, meeting planners, and local business stakeholders. The position also collaborates closely with property leadership, revenue management, and operations teams to ensure brand standards, guest satisfaction, and financial objectives are consistently achieved. The Complex Director of Sales and Marketing is expected to represent Hilton in the community, participate in networking events, and support public relations initiatives that enhance the visibility and reputation of the properties.
- Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Management, including leading teams, managing key accounts, and achieving revenue and market share goals.
- Proficiency in Strategic Planning and Budgeting, with the ability to develop, implement, and monitor sales and marketing plans that align with financial targets.
- Experience in brand positioning, and external communications to strengthen market presence and community relationships.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and reporting skills, with familiarity in revenue management concepts and hospitality performance metrics.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including team development, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Prior experience in hotel or resort sales and marketing, preferably with multi-property or complex operations; experience with global hospitality brands is an advantage.
