We’re partnering with an independent, ideas-led creative agency to find a commercially minded Director of Growth. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who can shape the agency’s next chapter by driving new business, strengthening client partnerships, and building a scalable growth engine.
You will work closely with executive, creative, and operations leaders to define growth strategy, lead commercial pursuits, and help position the agency for long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the agency’s growth strategy, with an emphasis on new-business development, relationship building, and commercial performance.
- Identify, develop, and convert new client opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, and consultative selling.
- Lead high-priority pitches from initial opportunity through positioning, proposal development, presentation, and close.
- Partner with creative, strategy, technology, production, and operations leaders to shape compelling, integrated client solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and represent the agency credibly in executive-level conversations.
- Help establish the processes, priorities, and pipeline discipline needed to support sustainable growth.
- Contribute to the agency’s market presence through thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and standout client work.
- Collaborate with leadership on growth planning, forecasting, and the evolution of the agency’s commercial model.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in business development, client partnerships, commercial strategy, or growth leadership within a creative, brand, digital, or integrated agency.
- A proven record of winning new business and growing relationships with enterprise-level clients or brands.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to sell complex creative and strategic services in senior-level settings.
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach; comfortable creating opportunities and directly leading critical pursuits.
- Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional creative, strategy, technology, production, and operations teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strategic judgment and commercial acumen, including comfort with pipeline planning and forecasting.
- A thoughtful, collaborative, and accountable leadership style.
