Territory Manager

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager will be a member of Von Ebert Brewing’s brewing team. The Sales Manager’s job is to grow and manage sales at the account level in both the on and off premise throughout the footprint of all distribution partners. This includes securing new distribution as well as maintaining existing ones, building incredible relationships with owners and buyers, and working closely with the distributor representatives to maintain and develop accounts.

The candidate must be able to travel throughout every area we distribute too although this position will be heavily focused on the Portland market, east PDX and Seattle. .

Duties & Responsibilities:

Pursue new on & off-premise distribution through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls

Call on existing off and on-premise accounts to secure new distribution and maintain current business

Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with account staff, buyers, and owners. The same goes for distributor sales personnel

Execute on and off
-premise events that generate brand awareness and additional business

Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large

Responsive to concerns of quality and quick to find solutions

Be aware of POs, follow through with distributor reps on account level commitments, and ensure allocations are set Collaborate with Director of Sales and distributor partners to create, execute and achieve sales goals and KPIsParticipate in meetings with Director of Sales to review Goals and KPIsPeriodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to Director of Sales Participate in crew drives, distributor rep Work Withs, and any other sales/team building activities as needed

Works with other members of the Von Ebert team as needed

Complete necessary administrative reporting and communications on a timely basis

Must become (or be) well versed in VIP and Karma applications with the ability to use them to identify and increase sales opportunities

Adhere to all budgets outlined to you and your territory

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill Requirements :

Acquire state mandated alcohol permits within first 30 days of being hired

Valid Driver License with a good driving recordA car with the ability to use it for workA company car may be provided – will be determined at hire Willingness to regularly work during evenings and weekends

Ability to travel often;
Travel requirements can vary from month to month, flexibility is a must Excellent time management skills; ability to be proactive and take initiative
