Under limited supervision, sorts, positions, stages, and loads waste and recyclable materials for safe transport and efficient removal from the site. The shift is Thursday - Monday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.

• Operate heavy equipment such as a loader, dozer, excavator, or similar.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintain good customer relations and interact professionally with customers.
• Perform daily routine safety and equipment operation checks including pre- and post-shift inspections.
• Report issues to appropriate authority in a timely manner.
• Support other areas of the operation as needed.
• Report all accidents and/or safety violations to appropriate authority in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• One year of related experience, including operation and maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of job site safety principles and practices, potential hazards, and state/local regulations including waste regulation.
• Basic computer program proficiency.
• High school degree or GED preferred.
